"Some kids wake up thinking, 'I have to go to school and it's going to be annoying.' When you go to KYHS, you think, 'I have something to look forward to in the music room.' I feel like it brings us closer to Hashem."

Before the Lounge, Michael was like a lot of teenagers — school felt like something to get through. Now the music room is what he looks forward to. He comes during breaks and after school to practice, jam, and experiment with production and songwriting — and somewhere in the middle of it, the music became a way to connect: to himself, to his friends, and to Hashem.
